Businesses that operate within any community are best served with public relations and positive branding when they give to local schools. Different causes around the community may cause political backlash, so even businesses are asked to have a level of political correctness. However, all businesses are encouraged to give in some way to local organizations. The best way to give is to create a partnership with the schools in the area in which the company is located. Customers will be influenced heavily by how the business is reflected in the community.

School systems have been under fire for a lack of commitment to securing resources for their students and teachers. This gap in resource fulfillment can be satisfied by a deal worked out with a local vendor who has the ability to cut prices in exchange for positive advertisements in the school, around the school, of near the school. This helps the business with a level of branding that they would not be able to afford if they were to hire public relations firms to create strategies from scratch. A strong partnership between a school and a local business inspires more customers to patronize in order to spur increased support to their school. The relationship becomes reciprocal in nature and both sides win.
